Y Gegin Fach is a family run cafe in the heart of the historic town of Caernarfon in North Wales. Taken over by Karen, Kevin, Iwan and Kerrie in early 2017, the venture was a pipe dream come true for the family, and the cafe has since gone from strength to strength.
Located just 200 yards from Caernarfon's Maes, the cafe is an ideal spot for a break, a bite to eat and a drink. It's easily accessible, and there is a pay and display car park nearby to the cafe, as well as some public toilets. The cafe is dog friendly so you're welcome to bring in your well behaved pooches.
To a regular stream of local and visitor custom, the cafe serves homemade dishes ranging from local Welsh classics to traditional cafe favourites. Some of our customer's favourite dishes include Hearty Breakfasts, Homemade Lobscouse and Homemade Cottage Pie. We pride ourselves on our customer service and aim to offer something for everyone, so if you fancy something you don't see on our menus feel free to enquire during your visit.
